Charles is the Founder cum Executive Editor of kopiandproperty.com Charles writes from the perspective of a working professional and views property investment as a long term decision. Charles speaks regularly for property events. His articles and views have appeared in many national newspapers, magazines and property listing portals. He has also appeared in TV shows speaking about property investments and has been a judge for a property award too. He is also an Assistant Producer for the ‘Property Hot Seat’ show in Bernama News Channel.

Charles is also a Licensed Auctioneer and is the CEO of TEN Auctioneers Sdn Bhd. He has conducted auctions for properties, banknotes and even special plate numbers.

Charles has been a corporate trainer for over 10 years and has trained many sales / customer service teams from property developers, real estate agencies, online startups and even regional teams in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Academically, Charles graduated with a Degree in Business Administration from Bristol Business School, University of the West of England, UK in 1998 and later on an MBA from UUM, Malaysia. Additionally, he is an active Toastmaster and has achieved the Distinguished Toastmaster Award (DTM).

TIA POH LOONG had been educated in Singapore for most of his life. He studied in Woodlands Secondary and went on to do his A-levels at St. Andrews Junior College.
He pursued his law degree in United Kingdom and graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in Bachelor of Laws.

Upon completion of his Bar Vocational course (BVC) in Newcastle achieved the grade of Very Competent and he was called to the English Bar in the year 2000. He then further called to the Malaysian Bar on 29th June 2001.
Since 2003, he joined Messrs Tia & Noordin. Thereafter he has introduced and successfully incorporated systematic and computerized systems into the firms’ conveyancing practice. Throughout the years, he has dealt with various conveyancing issues and handled commercial loans from various banks on a daily basis.

To date, he has acquired the requisite knowledge and experience to lead the now headcount of 50+ staff thoughout the firm branches to handle the bulk load of developer conveyancing work as well as sub-sale cases.
In the year 2013, he has became the partner of this firm together with his father, Tia Chak Yit.

He then ventured into other businesses, pharmacy (First Pharmacy in Johor Jaya), Transport logistics (Sintian logistics) with over 20 lorries, Food and beverages (Nasi Kukus Solo) having 2 outlets in Johor, Petrol Stations in 3 Johor locations.

He lately further ventured into Property development in Indonesia. Park by the Bay. A project soon to launch Phase 1 Rukos at Kendal Industrial Park (KIK), a joint venture project by Sembcorp and Jababeka in the city of Semarang, Central Java, Inodnesia.

I am a medical doctor and property investor since 2009.

Since then, I have gone into various businesses such as forming the 1st interior design company called Three Kings in Sabah which makeovers, manages and maintain real estates.

Besides that, I am also the Director of an investment education firm called High Hand Ventures which specialises in various investment vehicles. I am currently heading the real estate investment and research division.

Frequent writer for various real estate magazines in Malaysia, I specialise in real estate analysis.

Currently, I am in the process of launching my 1st area analysis book for developers and industry experts.

Dr Tan Tee Khoon is the Country Manager for PropertyGuru Singapore, the Group’s flagship market in Southeast Asia. Tee Khoon brings with him three decades of experience in Singapore’s property industry and has held leadership positions across both public and private sectors.

Tee Khoon most recently served as the Executive Director at Knight Frank Singapore. Prior to joining Knight Frank, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Accredited Estate Agencies (SAEA Ltd.) which was the property industry’s accreditation body prior to the inception of the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA).
